Xiaomi is going to launch Mi 10 variant with Snapdragon 870 SoC

Few of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphones have recently been spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA before their launch. These include Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and a replacement variant of the Mi 10 which may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. The new Mi 10 variant carries a model number M2102J2SC which was approved by the 3C authority of China last week. These smartphones are often launched within the approaching days.

Xiaomi can launch a new Mi 10 variant

The listing reveals that the Xiaomi M2012J2SC smartphone features a curved edge display. The new variant is perhaps getting to feature an AMOLED screen with an in-screen fingerprint reader. It is also expected to feature a punch-hole on the top-left corner of the screen. At the rear, the phone features a curved appeal and a vertically aligned camera module.

The new smartphone is getting to be powered by a quad-rear camera system. the tiny print of this camera module is unknown but all models of the Mi 10 series are equipped with a 108-megapixel primary sensor so far. The listing hints that the smartphone can support 33W rapid charging and 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi can launch a new Mi 10 variant

The last Mi 10 series smartphone to launch in India was the Mi 10i. The smartphone featured a 6.67-inch display on the front with support for 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features Adaptive-Sync which allows the phone to switch between 6 refresh rate steps automatically.

Under the hood, the phone is given a Snapdragon 750G SoC which is paired to a base configuration of multiple configurations of RAM and storage. The phone comes with a quad-camera set-up on the rear, built around a 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM2 sensor. Other cameras within the list are an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-camera macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone gets a 16-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone also packs a 4820mAh battery which comes with support for 33W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the charger can charge the phone up to 68 percent in just half-hour and 0-100 in slightly but an hour.

The Xiaomi Mi 10i could also be a really aggressively priced device with the entry variant starting at Rs 20,999. This variant brings with it 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The mid-variant gets 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and has been launched at Rs 21,999. The third one is getting to be available for Rs 23,999. This one will get 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
