Oppo has confirmed it will launch at least two models for its smart TVs
Oppo is gearing up to dip its toes into another product category where its peers are thriving in India, at least.
Oppo is preparing to enter the house entertainment segment with its first products which can be smart televisions. At the Oppo Developer Conference held recently in China, Oppo said it’ll launch a minimum of two smart TVs in October. Oppo wants to make its own ecosystem, very almost like Apple and other brands that use Android-based products like Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, and OnePlus. As such, the smart TV is getting to be a crucial neighborhood of the experience that Oppo wants to impart through its ambitious ecosystem.
The Oppo TV will arrive in October but a launch date is not there yet
The Oppo TV will launch in 55-inch and 65-inch models, both having smart features and possibly supported Android TV. The two televisions and their remote controls have already been certified in China on the 3C website. They have also appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website, hinting at an imminent launch. according to these listings, the Oppo TV is getting to be manufactured by TPV Display Technology, which also makes panels for AOC, Envision, and Philips brands.
Oppo TV is likely to run Android TV and has other smart features
Apart from the knowledge on the TV sizes, there’s not much to tell immediately about Oppo TV. These could alright be a bit like the OnePlus TV or Realme TV and have Android at the core. Having Android means there’s getting to be a Play Store in which a slew of apps is going to be supported on the TV. we’d also see Oppo TV have HDR panels and Dolby-powered speakers. These are all speculations at the moment which we’ll know more about Oppo TV within the approaching days. The launch isn’t confirmed yet so there’s that too.
