OnePlus 8T will not come with a Pro variant this year

OnePlus 8T could come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, paired with a Snapdragon 865+ processor.

The OnePlus 8T won’t arrive with a professional variant alongside the OnePlus 8T. This rumor has now been confirmed by the company’s CEO, Pete Lau, who took to the Chinese social media website, Weibo, to verify that there won’t be a ‘T’ variant of the OnePlus 8 Pro.

OnePlus 8T is all set to be launched on October 14

In the post, Lau has explained that the choice has been taken because there’s no room for an upgrade within the OnePlus 8 Pro which still may be a very competent device and can still function the flagship for the corporate. This suggestion is that the OnePlus 8T is going to be launched alone later this month, and after an extended time won’t accompany a professional variant with it. However, within the post, the corporate has also suggested that there might be a couple of surprises future for fans at the October 14 launch event.

OnePlus 8T Pro won’t launch this year

Ahead of the launch, OnePlus itself has confirmed some key details about the smartphone, while other details are leaked by well-known tipsters online. As per reports, the phone could accompany up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, paired with a Snapdragon 865+ processor.

There is confirmation from OnePlus that the phone will accompany an AMOLED panel which will run at a quick refresh rate of 120Hz. the knowledge on the OnePlus 8T screen is officially available from OnePlus, complete with its testing notes from Display Mate that rates it very highly.
